Olde Time Lumberjack Show Main Events

UNDERHAND CHOPPING. Wielding razor sharp 6 pound axes, our lumberjacks chop through 12 inch logs while balanced on top of them. This event was a favorite of the old time loggers as they competed for the title of Champion Logger.

SPRINGBOARD CHOPPING. One of the most spectacular of all lumberjack events is the springboard chop. In this event, our lumberjacks climb a nine foot spar pole and, while balanced on a narrow springboard (a board 6 in. wide, 2 in. thick and 4 feet long), chop off the top of the pole.

LOG ROLLING. In both a humorous and serious fashion, our lumberjacks demonstrate the century old talent of walking a log as it rotates, bobs and weaves precariously in the water of our 20 foot tank.

OBSTACLE POLE BUCKING. In yet another display of speed, agility and balance, our lumberjacks will race to see who can run up a 20' pole and cut a slice off the end with a saw in the least amount of time. This event is always a crowd pleaser.

AXE THROWING. With the pin point accuracy of a champion dart thrower, our lumberjacks throw three pound axes at a target 20 feet away attempting to hit a four inch bull's eye.

CHAIN SAW CARVING. Watch the children's delight as our chain saw artist carves a well-known object from a block of wood. This event keeps the crowd laughing and guessing until the object is revealed with the last stroke of the saw.
